TOP 10 Lip Balms 🇺🇲

Winter has officially settled in—and your lips feel it first.

Cold temperatures and dry air can quickly leave them tight, flaky, and uncomfortable. A good lip balm doesn’t just add shine: it helps repair, protect, and maintain hydration all winter long.

But ingredient quality really matters, especially for lip products. Some balms still rely on mineral oils, problematic preservatives, or controversial dyes. And because lip balm is applied so often, it’s worth remembering that you may be ingesting more of it than you think.

To make things easier, we’ve rounded up lip balms rated 100/100 on Yuka, so you can keep your lips soft and your routine worry-free.

When I first got Yuka I scanned all of lip glosses to find out that they were all not clean at all.I had to get rid of my Laneige,Summer Fridays ,and Rhode. It is so nice to see this list with wonderful and clean products.I have the Mongo Kis lip balm and it is amazing !I only use that and my Evereden lip balm(100/100!) which has led to my lips being so much more hydrated.Thank you Yuka for showing me a cleaner lifestyle and making me feel confident with the products I’m using.

I hope people who see that Aquaphor made the list don’t think the rest of the Aquaphor line is clean as well! It’s deceiving if you don’t look at ALL of the labels! Some of their products are petrolatum based.

When a product like Aquaphor receives a 100/100, I cannot help but feel skeptical about the other 9 picks on this list. Read the Aquaphor ingredients … then you’ll understand my skepticism.

What is possible ingredient/cause of usage of lip items to create “cold sores” to appear after a few days of using? I tecently used EOS and had a big issue with extremely dry lips and blisters, mostly upper lip. I have not found any lip items(balm, gloss or lipstick) that I have t had an eventual problem with.

I have been a lip balm addict forever and was at the point of needing it at least hourly. The ones I was using (sorry, Burts bees) actually seemed to make my lips drier. A read about Lanolips 101 Ointment Coconutter online and it is the best I have ever used. Only need to apply 3-4 times/day. 93/100 on Yuka.
